Manchester based event production company providing exceptional events UK wide. Uniquely positioned in the events industry with a huge stock of AV, light, sound and visual equipment as well as one of the UK's largest prop supplies, venue dressing and fun activities provider. Job Description: Due to continued and rapid growth of one of the UK's most versatile event companies, we are seeking positive, dedicated and motivated people with a good understanding of the events industry to join our team. We are looking for event staff to help us deliver 100's of exceptional events every year. With a very wide range of products and services supplied directly from our Hyde based 9,000 sq ft warehouse, you can expect to be working in a fast paced and exciting company. We produce events all over the UK, with everything from small conferences up to 1000 person gala dinners. The correct attitude is what is important to us, we can teach you the skills. However candidates with existing knowledge and understanding of event production including lighting, AV, sound and vision would be beneficial to your application. As a truly unique and versatile event production company, we also product stunning events with one of the UK's largest prop catalogues, venue dressing supplies and linen services, so applicants with a creative flair and a keen eye for detail would be ideal. Role : To liaise with the event manager and to work to the event plan to complete the required tasks, ensuring all events are completes to the highest possible standard. To liaise with the client to ensure that all aspects of the event are completed to their complete satisfaction. Equipment and job preparation in our unit. Onsite working in venues across the UK, occasionally over a number of consecutive days away from home. Working location and Hours: The base for all events is our unit in Hyde - SK14. The normal working hours are dependent on each individual event. Other benefits include ongoing training and development. Good rates of pay and flexible hours. Employee reward scheme. The correct candidate with have high personal and professional standards, be well organised and punctual and an excellent eye for details. They will be able to manage their own time and work with other team members to ensure the timely completion of required tasks. They must be able to work to a production plan and keep to deadlines. Must be able to problem solve and react to the challenges of live event production and work well under pressure. Must have experience in manual labour duties, including heavy lifting, carrying and moving all types of equipment.- Must be fit, healthy and presentable.- Must be able to work flexible, unsociable hours. Additional training will be provided where necessary, but experience and qualifications in rigging, IPAF, set build, draping, sound, light and vision would be preferable. Full driving license.
