Exciting opportunities offered in a busy, friendly Emergency Department. Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow (STR3+ equivalent) in the Emergency Department. This is a full time post initially for a 12-month period but may be extended if mutually agreeable. The position involves working a shift pattern, including night duties. Non-clinical personal development and teaching time will be included in the job plan. The department is currently trialling software to allow self-rostering for consultants and middle grade doctors. This will be available in the very near future bringing even more flexibility to job planning and even better work life balance. Basic salary 49,036 plus additional elements for additional hours, weekend and evening working. The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a full range of acute clinical services through the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (1,000 beds) and Cromer and District Hospital, including more specialist services, such as oncology and radiotherapy, neonatology, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, rheumatology, paediatric medicine and surgery. As a university teaching hospital we have developed our research and development strategy in partnership with the University of East Anglia. We have strong links with the East Anglian Air Ambulance and are working on increasing our trauma provision with aspirations to become a Major Trauma Centre over the coming years.
