** This is a Substantive / Fixed Term / Secondment opportunity ** The Emergency Department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) is seeking to recruit highly motivated and passionate individuals to join our team as a Senior Healthcare Assistant. The NNUH hosts the busiest Emergency Department in the East of England seeing over 120,000 patients every year. Whilst an NVQ3 in Health and Social Care is desirable, this post is open to applicants who do not possess this qualification but are willing to undertake once in post or can demonstrate equivalent experience. This role is key in continuing our #JourneytoOutstanding and ensuring that patients are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an individual with excellent communication skills who is capable of providing the highest possible standard of patient care. You'll work within a varied Multi-disciplinary Team, playing a vital part in ensuring a safe, timely and effective patient experience. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, work with all members of the multidisciplinary team, to contribute to the provision of the highest standards of patient care. To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH's 'PRIDE' values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity and Excellence. Essentially to cover 24 hours a day, 7 day a week service.
