Job Description

We currently have vacancies for Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse's within the Emergency Department. Your role will involve supporting our senior nursing team to provide high quality care to patients and be competent to co-ordinate all areas of the Emergency Department, including Paediatrics. The expectation would be to mentor junior nurses and student nurses within the team sharing your expertise and knowledge. The Hillingdon Emergency Department sees approximately 82,000 patients per year and is the receiving hospital for London's Heathrow Airport, offering many challenges for Emergency Care Nurses. You must have an extensive knowledge and recent experience within Emergency Nursing and will have, or be working towards, post registration qualifications in Emergency Nursing/Mentorship.
