Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist in Adult Community Mental Health services within HPFT, which has recently received a rating of Outstanding from CQC. This post is based in the North Quadrant of Hertfordshire, located in Stevenage. The applicant will be expected to work with clients presenting with a wide range of difficulties and diagnoses and will receive high quality supervision to support them in their role. The post holder will join a well-established, supportive team of psychological therapists who offer assessment and a range of different psychological interventions within a multidisciplinary community mental health team. There is a wealth of experience and knowledge of different therapeutic approaches within the team and regular opportunities for peer reflection and supervision. The post holder will also be provided with CPD opportunities, including training opportunities in psychological approaches to psychosis and Autism Spectrum Conditions amongst others.
