HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING As an Associate Engineering Technology Leader, you will provide the necessary direction and leadership to ensure technical success and performance within your allocated projects. In this role you will play a major part in the decision making, breakthrough development, standardisation, and continuous improvement for the selected equipment and technologies implemented across our manufacturing sites in Europe. You would operate as part of a centralized engineering team, delivering capital projects across all Kellogg's European sites (UK, Belgium, Poland and Spain). Due to the nature of the role, flowing to the work will be essential, therefore the role can be based in either of our Engineering offices in Media City Manchester UK or Mechelen, Belgium, (relocation package is not available). The role is best suited to individuals with a passion for Packing/Process Equipment, and Technology Development, and with a mind-set and drive for continuous improvement. + Develop and Implement a Technology Masterplan for the Category Business Unit to support the Growth and Innovation Masterplan. + Continually improve the installed Area Technology base to create incremental Supply Chain Opportunities to drive business results (e.g. COGS, enhanced performance/ rate, increased standards/ flexibility, new transformations/ technology) + Create and Develop an Area Technology Masterplan that is aligned to the Global Platform Technology Masterplans delivering winning solutions that improve Quality and Cost + Identify industry trends and benchmark against competition and equipment that will better meet the Category Business Goals leveraging academia and suppliers' skills where appropriate + Influence and share ideas globally to drive scale and standardisation through a common Area Masterplan + Develop and qualify low cost solutions to reduce cost of capacity/ technology where appropriate + Support Capital Projects that require extensive improvement to owned equipment technology or involve significant modification to current installed technology + Maintain an accurate and standardised knowledge management database of current assets, capability and know-how of what worked and failed + Develop and maintain strong links with the operational area leaders on current equipment performance and opportunities to drive capability and equipment improvement focus area for Loss Elimination YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS + Degree in Engineering and/or with 4+yrs relevant experience either as an Engineer or in Manufacturing. + Able to communicate effectively, influence others and develop relationships through collaboration, to ensure Area Masterplans are sufficient to meet the business needs. + Ability to Set Area priorities and focus, set expectations, provide objective feedback, coach, measure performance, and ensure Area resource is sufficient. + Budget and plan effectively, proactively solve problems, identify and share opportunities and issues.
