Job Description
Despatch Team Leader, 4 on 4 off days, £10.75 per hour An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to support the Logistics Team. Reporting to the Shift Manager you will be responsible for managing a small team to ensure the supply of materials and end of line packing and despatch operations. Leading your team, you will be responsible for all areas of Logistics which includes, receiving deliveries, refilling of materials, stock counts and finished goods despatch. Key responsibilities will include: * Ensuring each area operates in a safe and efficient manner, achieving GMP standards and delivering key performance indicators * Managing daily and weekly resource plans for labour and materials * Providing feedback to team members, and senior managers, on performance and developing improvement plans Applicants should be confident communicators able to provide clear direction and deliver briefings to the team. You should also have a demonstrable understanding of continuous improvement and problem solving techniques as well as the ability to prioritise and delegate to complete tasks efficiently in a timely manner. Previous experience of managing a small multi-skilled team would be beneficial. Ability to use a PC and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
