Perthyn are a large not-for-profit charity who provide support to people with learning disabilities. We deliver person-centred services, encouraging individuals to live as independently as possible within their home and community. Support workers are required to work with a gentleman with a learning disability, who may present some challenges within his own home in the Potterspury area of Northamptonshire. Experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given to the right applicant. The ideal candidate should have a current and valid full UK driving licence as the gentleman supported enjoys going out in his own vehicle and has the ability to communicate clearly. Part time requests will also be considered for this role. Please note: Applicants must be 18+ for personal care. All of our new starters are provided with excellent guidance to help them build a successful career as a Perthyn employee. You will be supported through a comprehensive induction, including shadow shifts, monthly supervisions and in-depth, quality training.
