Overview

Residential Care Support Worker needed for children with Special Educational Needs A residential SEN school are looking for new candidates to help within the residential side of the facility. This is a 52-week contract and will be supporting, supervising and caring for the children ages 8-18 with Aspergers. This position is shift work and is 7.30am-2.30pm or 2pm-10pm varied throughout the full week. Job title: Care Support Worker Location: Towcester Pay: £10-£11 an hour for initial 12 weeks (£18,500 - £19,700 per annum) Hours: 38 hours a week 52 weeks a year (some weekends are required) Start date: ASAP The school are looking for people who have the following; - Experience within care/schools/PRU's/Alternative Provisions/youth clubs/sports coaching etc - Empathetic to students needs - Level 3 qualification - desirable but not essential - DBS on update service - desirable but not essential - Ability to drive is more convenient for ability to get to shift and to drive company car - Ability to work full time hours and flexible with shift patterns The company are working really hard towards looking after their staff and their staff needs with schemes such as; - Free training and progression to Level 3 Health and Social Care - Employee of the month - Competitions in which you can trip trips away etc - Competitive salary - Lots of career progression The position is a long term permanent position and is to start in September.
