Job Description
Airband are looking to recruit an Operative to manage all Traffic Management on our latest project. You will be joining a busy civils team who are in place to help support your role. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong knowledge of traffic management and the ability to think on their feet. Airband are currently rolling out their fibre network along the north of the M4 corridor, transforming connectivity for people and communities who deserve better. As a family established business that has been operating for over 10 years, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast growing business who are continually up skilling their workforce to the highest qualifications and safety standards. Duties Include: * Set up and close down temporary lights inc 2way, 3way. * Stop and Go services * Traffic Marshall responsibilities * Support/ lead lane closures for dual carriageways * Set up road closures and diversions * Provide full site maintenances Person Specification: * Must hold a Lantra M1/M2 tickets or Steetworks Unit 2 Minimum * Must hold full UK driving license * Streetworks: 2 years * Driving: 4 years The right candidate will receive competitive rates of pay dependent on TM experience and qualifications, holiday allowance increasing each year to a total of 28 days + bank hols, and an opportunity for career progression.
