Job Description
Patient Pathway - Team Leader - Fixed Term/Secondment At Kingston Hospital we believe in employing the best staff so we can provide an excellent service to all our patients. We are recruiting to Patient Pathway - Team Leader (Band 4) within the clinical services: Trauma & Orthopaedics - 12 months (Maternity cover) Respiratory - 12 months (Maternity cover) You will be the first point of contact for all administrative issues relating to our patients' pathway of care. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and provide expertise in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire process is managed smoothly. The role may also involve supervising and allocating work to other members of the admin team. You will ensure provision of a high-quality service for patients and clinical staff by being an approachable, customer-focused and knowledgeable point of contact. You will make sure administration work is of a consistently high standard across the trust using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and IT skills are essential. A working knowledge of the Referral to Treatment 18 Weeks Patient Pathway is essential. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a busy and fast-paced environment.
