Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Outpatient team based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. We have a Permanent Band 5 Outpatient Team Leader Post available as follows: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 17.00 The successful applicant will be able to work on their own initiative as well as lead a team, be self-motivated and reliable and able to prioritise conflicting demands. They must have the ability to deal with service users and colleagues in a confident and caring and empathetic manner both over the phone and in person. They should be well organised and methodical with excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills, including Waiting list management. They will need to be resilient to cope with the demands of managing patient waiting lists, booking patient appointments and liaising with Medical/Nursing/Management to identify ways of maximizing capacity to ensure patients are booked appropriately.
