Passport Health is looking for a seasoned Nurse Manager to join its clinical team in London, UK. We're looking for motivated and experienced individuals with excellent communication and leadership skills. Position Description: As the Nurse Manager, you will see patients in our clinic/s for the first year and provide travel health consultations, vaccinations, and medications. As the company grows across London, you are expected to focus more on hiring, training, and management of the nursing staff. In this exciting and unique role, you will be overseeing the clinical aspects of multiple clinics across London and potentially the UK. This position will be acting as the CQC Registered Manager for multiple Passport Health Clinics in London, therefore, knowledge of Clinical Governance, Health and Social Care Act, and requirements of the Care Quality Commission is required. Required Qualifications: * Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), able to work without supervision * At least 3 years of experience in immunizations for adults and children, * Being an Independent Nurse Prescriber is a strong asset * Travel health experience * Experience working in private healthcare setting an asset * Desire to learn and to teach the team * Nurse supervisory experience * Ability to travel to North America without any restrictions or delays * Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays and in the evenings (up to 8 pm) * Excellent verbal and computer skills * Problem solving and decision-making skills * Works well independently * Fluent in English * Some travel is required- occasional travel to the US required (1-2 times/yr) Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide the clinical and operational leadership daily, ensuring that exceptional standards of care are always adhered to * Manages all aspects of nursing staff including, recruitment and retention, training, and shifts/schedules * Coordinate and organize clinics across London * Perform all CQC registered manager's responsibilities * Provide immunizations and travel health advice to clients * Collaborates with the corporate team to ensure Company targets are met * Write/Edit clinical policies for nursing staff as required
