They are now searching for an I.T Service Manager to join the team, managing the delivery of the support desk, external suppliers and other I.T systems / operations. Location: Salford, Manchester (easily commutable from Altrincham, Stockport, Sale, etc) Salary: circa £35,000 depending on experience, perhaps up to £40,000 for the right person Benefits: excellent home-working support, pension, gym membership, 28 days' holiday (+ bank hols) Start date: this role is ideally to commence in September this year, perfect if you have a longer notice period in your current role! You'll have extensive experience working within I.T functions and have managed a helpdesk / support desk environment - ability to manage people is important. You should ideally be ITIL certified, have worked with Agile methodologies and knowledge of tools such as JIRA and HappyFox to manage an I.T services estate. It's essential you've had exposure to .Net technologies and software development, with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure in particular. The broader your I.T knowledge the better, understanding product release cycles, auditing, service delivery, supplier management & SLA's. You will be working at home for now, but in future will be based at the Manchester office; although there will be options for flexible / remote working.
