Job Description
Kyowa Kirin have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Talent Learning & Development Manager based out of our Galashiels office. This role will be working within the Established Medicines Business Unit and reporting directly to the Head of HR for the Business Unit, this role is a broad and diverse learning and development role with responsibility for the full L&D life cycle including TNA, design, delivery and RoI of learning initiatives. This role requires the individual to identify and drive the capability development needed to deliver the business unit priorities, retain talent and develop employees within and between roles. Working alongside business leaders and the wider HR team to identify development needs and to develop solutions to meet these needs. Key responsibilities The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for the planning, directing, and implementing a variety of HR programs including the following: * Driving a Learning Culture : Using expertise and influence to drive a learning culture across the business unit through engaging learning solutions and communications * Identifying and Developing Learning Solutions: Working with business leaders and HR to identify capability needs and develop solutions to meet those needs * Driving Engagement and Culture: Delivering both corporate initiatives and individually led solutions that drive and embed a strong, performance driven Kyowa Kirin culture within the EMBU and embed our values * Learning Design and Delivery: Identifying, designing and delivering learning solutions that meet EMBU learning needs both at a broad level and for specific critical roles * Talent Mapping and Succession Planning: Supporting our talent management approach by driving talent mapping and succession planning deeper within our business to ensure we retain and grow critical talent * Onboarding and Induction: Developing and delivering innovative and meaningful onboarding to ensure we provide employees with a positive, engaging and highly useful new starter experience when they join our business * Delivering EMEA-wide and Global Initiatives: Working alongside the wider learning team to develop and deliver relevant learning initiatives within the EMBU Key requirements include: * Experience of working within a Learning and Development function or having developed and delivered learning solutions within a broader HR role * Strong capability with identifying learning needs and developing solutions to meet capability gaps * Relevant learning design, delivery, facilitation and coaching experience * Passion and energy for creating an engagement employee proposition with the aim of retaining and growing talent across the business * Excellent stakeholder management skills * Familiar with digital learning environments and creating blended solutions to drive a digital learning culture * Experience of managing external suppliers to develop and deliver learning solutions * Experience of communicating and influencing at a senior level and producing high quality and engaging communication materials through emails, documents and social media * Prior experience supporting Pharmaceutical and or BioTech organisation(s) is desirable * Strong organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; proven ability to manage priorities * Bachelor's degree in HR or related field is desirable. * L&D and psychometric qualifications are desirable * Some national and international travel may be required (5-10% time) Benefits: * Competitive salary * Pension scheme * Private medical insurance About us: Kyowa Kirin International is going through an exceptional time.
