In order to contribute to the company's strategy fostering our leading market position, further driving and realizing digital transformation including marketing automation is one of our key activities. With around 90 people, CMO is operating out of 9 countries as the global marketing consultant and service provider mainly in 5 disciplines: Central Marketing Technology, Digital Marketing Operations, Design and Media Production, Multimedia, and Exhibits. Providing effective and scalable marketing solutions and tactics, lean and efficient processes supported by cutting edge technology is key to our working philosophy based on a high customer focus. Central Marketing Technology is a team of product owners and marketing automation experts that is responsible for global marketing technology systems in Springer Nature. The aim of the team is to rollout, support, and continuously improve the current and future systems that are globally leveraged by the marketers in Springer Nature. Purpose of the Role In order to sustain and expand our strong market position, Springer Nature is currently seeking a Marketing Automation Architect to strengthen our Central Marketing Technologies Team to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and overall impact of marketing campaigns. This newly created role will work in collaboration with Springer Nature Marketers to define holistic customer journeys, onboard new customers, and ultimately improve the efficiency and impact of our digital marketing activities and systems. Responsibilities * Work with the larger marketing team and internal stakeholders in planning and executing automated multi-touch marketing campaigns * Work closely with Marketing Managers to help conceptualize marketing automation campaigns and programs that will advance business, marketing objectives * Together with Marketing Managers define business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping, customer journeys), prototyping, configuration, testing, training, defining support procedures * Engage key stakeholders to identify and implement solutions that drive improved efficiency through automation * Work with IT/Marketing to capture and integrate key data points for segmentation and triggers * Bring to the table a thorough knowledge of best practices and processes for marketing automation and ensure these are in practice in SN * Use an agile (test and learn) approach to optimize program effectiveness, leverage reporting and analytic to analyze campaign performance and track campaign KPI's * Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Technology and Product Experience, Skills & Qualifications Experience: * Be an expert in the Digital Marketing domain and have strong understanding of Marketing Automation platforms (SAP Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Marketo, etc. * Experience with supporting/running Marketing Automation programs * Understanding of Marketing Automation architecture and knowledge of the wider SAP Marketing Cloud ecosystem Skills/Knowledge: * Previous Marketing Automation Experience * Strong organizational and planning skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills/ problem-solving skills To make an application please submit a CV and cover letter outlining your experience To apply please upload a copy of your CV and covering letter, stating your salary expectations.
