The Enterprise Architect will also have a long-term view of our roadmap, likely to be 3-5 years whereas our Solution Architects work on the 1-2 years ahead. You will be comfortable challenging the business on functionals plans and ambitions. It would be beneficial if you had a strong external network with the likes of SAP or Oracle and have a handle on what other businesses are doing. Whilst this is broadly a 'hands off' and strategy focused role, you must be prepared to roll your sleeves up when necessary. Strong skills required would incorporate senior stakeholder management, be a good translator of technology to the business, you will also need to have worked within an FMCG or Consumer Goods business at some point in your career history. This role will have one direct report, a Data Architect but you will be working with the Enterprise Architect for Infrastructure and Solution Architects very closely.
