Job Description
Amazon legal is seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and innovative EU Legal Operational Excellence Program Manager to join legal's Operations/IT team. The EU manager will be a key member of our Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Turkey and UK legal teams, serving as the front line for advocacy across those offices. In this role, you will gain valuable exposure to many areas of Amazon business, will work with people of all levels, direct projects, and be a champion for positive change. This role will be the interface between US and EU based legal teams, helping to define the future of legal technology and programs. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator with an ability to weed through complex user requirements and distill them into simple, actionable plans and processes. The position will require someone with an ability to influence change across levels and cultures. You must be able to successfully deliver concurrent projects and priorities, by taking action from the strategic level down to project details. You must also be comfortable learning existing and new legal software applications, and have the ability to be the regional point-of-contact for legal members on those systems. This role will be based in either our Luxembourg or London office, but will routinely travel to other EU and US legal offices, in order to better understand the wants and needs of teams based in those countries.
