FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN FOR COMMERCIAL LAUNDRY AND CATERING EQUIPMENT

Job Description
Our client, a company established in the 1970's, has become one of the UK's leading distributors & service providers of commercial laundry equipment and are now expanding our service team. They supply, service and maintain commercial laundry & catering equipment, chemical auto dosing systems and Ozone laundry technology to a variety of market segments. Non negotiable: * 2-3 years average of commercial experience. Looking for someone who is looking for a progression from their first role. * Candidates must be able to diagnose, repair, recondition and install commercial laundry and catering equipment Working hours- * Mon-Fri- 9-6pm * Looking to include weekend within next 6 months but not yet, however will be a 5 day week. Team Setup: * 4 other Field Service Engineers at the moment-report to the Service Manager Benefits: * Van * Uniform * Laptop/phone * Pension * Commission structure will be discussed in the interview * Private Healthcare after 12months consecutive service The Role: Based from our office in North West London, you will be play a vital role as one of the key field service technicians delivering high quality service to our diverse customer base. You will be required to diagnose, repair, recondition and install commercial laundry and catering equipment in and around London & the South East . Domestic / commercial laundry equipment service and gas or electrical qualifications preferred. Your duties will include: * Attending to service calls, diagnosing and repairing faults * Reporting machine & install conditions and recommendations * Checking & commissioning installations of laundry equipment * Carrying out basic installations of laundry equipment * Preparing ex-rental and testing equipment ready to be supplied * Routine maintenance visits to check equipment where required The Person: For this role we are looking for people who meet the following criteria; * Proven experience * Gas Safe * Mechanical & electrical experience * Good problem solving and diagnostic skills * Good English written and verbal * Personable and professional * Ability to work under own initiative and time management * Ability to work under pressure * Drive and integrity * Full UK (clean) driving license Responsibilities: Our client, a company established in the 1970's, has become one of the UK's leading distributors & service providers of commercial laundry equipment and are now expanding our service team.
