Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting a Group HR Business Partner (L&D and OD) for one of the largest Further Education Groups in London. This gives a great opportunity to create and implement a Learning and Development strategy to help drive the colleges objectives forward. Job summary * Define and implement corporate organisational development (OD) and learning and development (L&D) strategies, plans and policies which are aligned with and facilitate the delivery of the business objectives and strategic plan. * Deliver a first class, modern and inventive strategic and tactical organisational development and learning service. Working with the Head of HR (Business Partnering) you will reset the model with the aim of enabling all our people to learn - everyday in the flow of work using appropriate technology and resources. * Deliver strategic OD initiatives that will drive high performance, develop our culture, and embed our values across everything we do * Work with the HR&OD director create a leadership development framework and accredited programme of development for our managers at every level of the organisational * Lead on the Employee Experience, Staff Engagement, and Wellbeing initiatives * Provide specialist expertise in the development of organisational culture, performance management, leadership and management development, employee engagement and all aspects of development including the provision of team and individual solutions across the organisation * Ensure that the employee journey and experience is the very best that it can be. Duties and Responsibilities * To lead the development and implementation of the corporate Organisational Development and Learning & Development Strategies, Plans and Policies managing implementation against agreed corporate time frames, budget and reporting against agreed performance measures. * Managing the implementation of plans and strategies by maximising internal resources and contracting with external partners as required to deliver on agreed plans. * Use OD interventions to help drive a culture of continuous learning and development * Lead the development and implementation of the Leadership & Management Development Framework, delivering key performance targets and key corporate objectives such as the implementation of learning and development solutions to support a coaching culture, reflective leadership and management practice, objective setting and personal development planning. Person Specification * You will bring significant experience of learning and OD leadership across complex organisations, with experience from several sectors, ideally. * Your knowledge of best practice OD and people management and development will be second to none, and you value thought leadership, looking beyond your organisation to identify the very best strategic and operational people approaches. * You know how to communicate, expertly. Your ability to engage with complex concepts and issues and communicate these clearly and simply is one of your strengths. Learning delivery experience within a face to face context is essential. * You will have led and contributed to the delivery of transformational change.
