Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Trust's Fire and Security team, providing advice, support and expertise as a Fire Safety Advisor, and ensuring the continued high standards of compliance within the Trust. The post holder will work closely with staff throughout the Trust in identifying and managing fire safety risks and promoting good fire safety practice to all Trust staff within a large and agile organisation. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate previous experience of fire prevention within a multidisciplinary organisation, as well as a working knowledge of fire legislation, standards and safety techniques. The Fire Safety Advisor must also be able to utilise competent IT skills in the production of risk assessments and reports, as well as the management of emails and busy calendars. Time management skills will be vital, as the post holder will frequently travel between a number of sites across Sussex.
