Job Description
We are currently recruiting for Funding Officers to join a well-established organisation within the public sector. The role will be home-based. You will be responsible for; Reviewing, Report Writing, and Decision Making process of applications and following through the collation of monitoring reports on a regular basis with grant holders and making recommendations with information to the decision making panel where applicable Investigating and responding to cases of non- compliance Resolving difficult legal compliance issues, identifying areas of the projects where there is a risk of non- compliance and develop polices to reduce that risk Ensured all monitoring reports required as a result of performance management were monitored and recorded accurately and on time Preparing reports, correspondence, financial data, statistical information, returns etc as necessary supporting the Executive management team Co-ordinating, raising and processing invoices on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis. Suitable candidates will have Experience of assessment work, along with excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing) Ability to read and summarise information at pace (rapid appraisal of written information) Experience of report writing Ability to analyse information and produce a clear recommendation Experience of making and presenting evidenced based judgements Microsoft experience: Word, Excel and Outlook - operate appropriate systems Self-organisation and planning Experience of reviewing and analysing numerical information, specifically project budgets.
