Description Data Managing Consultants at DMW identify the tools clients need to unlock their data and start delivering value to their businesses. Combining delivery best practices with the latest technologies, we help solve complex business challenges. Our Data experts work across five key areas: * Data Analysis and Data Engineering * Data Visualisation and Reporting * Data Project Management * Platform Engineering * Cloud Architecture Typically, our data projects tend to be at enterprise level and range from setting out data strategies & roadmaps, defining and designing data architecture, helping clients visualise their data and draw actionable insights from it, defining and delivering data security solutions and many more. Requirements As our Data Managing Consultant, you'll come from a technology consulting background having delivered data centric solutions at scale. You'll ideally display: * Expertise in at least one of : Data Visualisation and Reporting or Data Analysis and Data Engineering or Data Project Management or Platform Engineering or Cloud Architecture (essential); * Experience of working in a client-facing capacity as part of a consulting team (essential); * Strong technical experience across a range of data related tools & technologies such as SQL, VBA, Python, R, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire and PowerBI; * Good understanding data modelling methodologies, security and governance applicable in Big Data environments; * Good understanding of Cloud based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google) and related architecture patterns; * Prior experience of delivering complex engagements either as a leader or a senior member of a team; * Strong analytical & problem solving skills combined with the ability to work collaboratively; * Strong communication, presentation and business writing skills along with the ability to manage and build strong relationships both internally and externally; * Flexibility to travel to, and work in, other locations.
