We are looking for a talented Senior Analyst to join our exciting clients team based in Manchester. Summary of Role: The developer will lead and own the development of specific Digital and Business Intelligence solutions for our client as well leading and owning initiatives which cultivate and drive innovation across all aspects of the facilities management offer and product set in support of business objectives. The product developer will work within the Digital Support Team and will work and collaborate with key stakeholders such as Performance Director (Information & Technology Department), LT/SMT (Leadership and Senior Management Teams), CT (Commercial Teams) and support staff. The role will lead and support across various digital product development work streams and will base from our clients office in Manchester. This is a pro-active role, working closely with the Performance Director and Head of Business Information Tools researching shaping and then focussing on the delivery of the digital development roadmap, seeking insights, business process improvements and automation - working alongside and in partnership with 'operational and contract mobilisation teams managing specialist suppliers and our in-house delivery teams'. As well as supporting the testing, deployment and on-going support to users of our clients digital business toolset. Tasks & Responsibilities: 1. Functional/Technical * Engaging with the different stakeholders in the business to understand software and product development opportunities as well as change management needs. * Owning and planning data and digital tools development projects and any resulting required monitoring of defined systems and processes. * Deliver digital product development projects utilising the expertise of the Digital Support Team, I.T. and other internal/external developers. * Assist in the development digital solutions utilising the Microsoft technology stack and other software in the catalogue to add value and cut waste. * Formulation and high quality delivery of user training sessions for systems and digital business tools, ensuring content and supplementary materials are developed to defined standards. * Data migration. * Use of advanced analytical techniques to clean, transform, analyse and Interpret data using statistical techniques and visualisation tools (Microsoft Power BI, Power Pivot, Power View and Excel). * Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets * Report Development utilising the Business Reporting Tools such as (BIRT, SQL(DB2), TOAD, SQL(SERVER), Microsoft Power BI) * Content development for digital tools such as MyMI, eForms (APPENATE), Digital Process Mapping (NIMBUS), EDMS (SharePoint) and future digital tools. 2. People Management * Collaborate and win buy-in/trust of internal colleagues and external clients * Share knowledge and develop capabilities to strengthen understanding of business issues and best practices; evaluate implications 3. Relationship Management * Work in partnership with our clients I.T. on Digital Support related projects * Lead the development of close working/strategic relationships with teams and senior management. Qualifications: Qualified in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Programming, Product Design, Statistics or similar Analytical field. Relevant Experience: Essential: Extensive data visualisation experience through Microsoft Power BI Strong knowledge of and experience of agile digital product development practices including: Discovery, Definition, Design/Prototyping, Development, Deployment BI Development - Extensive experience of the Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS) ETL Development - Azure experience - Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, LogicApps Demonstrable skills in database concepts, object and Data modelling techniques and design principles. Translates object and data models into appropriate database schemas within design constraints.
