LMS and eLearning System Lead
Overview
Job Description
Are you that rare person who can combine an imaginative, creative approach with a focus on tasks and processes? Do you want to bring your Learning Management Systems skills to an organisation which shares your values? You'll play a lead role in ensuring engaging, high quality eLearning, continually assessing its success and relevance, reporting back regularly to the senior leadership team. You'll implement a blended approach to e-learning, combining developing our own content with buying in from external suppliers. You'll be a patient supporter of users who may not be IT-literate, providing an LMS helpdesk function to our staff. Who are we? MacIntyre is an expanding national charity supporting children, young people and adults with a learning disability and/or autism. We have over 2000 staff in locations around the country. Our eLearning and face-to-face training complement each other as we continue to invest heavily in learning opportunities for our staff. About you You must have a strong understanding of online learner management systems, together with an understanding of the different ways in which people learn. If you have experience in Totara, that would be great. You must be able both to maintain a strategic overview of our eLearning and delve down into the fine content detail, ensuring regulatory and data protection compliance. It's essential that you have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You'll be the sort of person who can build constructive relationships: internally, with our external suppliers and with other organisations within the learning and development sectors. You'll be based at our head office in Milton Keynes, and will need to be a driver with your own transport as there will be some travel around the country, including occasional overnight stays. Our benefits include: * 30 days' annual leave (including public holidays) * Workplace pension scheme * MacIntyre Perks which offers up to 6% discount off leading retailers including Tesco, Curry/PC World, Costa and many more * Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to support your health and wellbeing * MacIntyre Staff Savings Scheme * Cashplan which provides money back on core health treatments such as: optical, dental, physiotherapy, chiropody * MacIntyre Rewards Scheme * MacIntyre pays for your DBS check Next steps Interested?
