The role Based at BNP Paribas Real Estate office headquarters, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing an Infrastructure team of 4 dealing with operational support and development of the BNP IT infrastructure, including management of the data centre environment and LAN / WAN networks connecting 57 BNP Paribas Real Estate offices in the UK and to the parent company in Paris. Supporting 1500 users the team actively engage in incident, problem and change management, as well as overseeing the development of new and innovative solutions using technologies such as VMware, Cisco and Citrix whilst ensuring at all times the continuing live BAU service. The successful candidate will have strong and relevant experience in VMware, Cisco, Citrix and Windows server infrastructure and will have the ability to work at an operational support and project level managing workload and priorities accordingly. In order to meet our expectations, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing a busy infrastructure team delivering a world class service to staff and suppliers. As part of the IT management team, the candidate is expected to participate in the creation and delivery of the corporate IT strategy. You should relish working in a team environment with the ability to interact and share ideas, but be equally confident working independently to deliver new solutions. Responsibilities * To actively participate in the IT Senior Management Team providing advice to the Head of IT * To lead the development of key performance indicators and performance management reports for network services in partnership with clients, to assess and monitor the quality of the services provided * To manage, develop and train staff within the Infrastructure team, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped to deliver a high quality service to agreed standards * To ensure that the network adheres to relevant standards including those set out by BNP Paribas and other regulatory and statutory bodies * To be responsible for budget control for the infrastructure service * To lead on the development of the core infrastructure, including procurement and future-proofing * Work closely with colleagues within the central infrastructure team in Paris to delivery global requirements. * To lead the implementation of all BNP Paribas Real Estate IT security & risk policies ensuring compliance with Information governance, legal, regulatory and mandatory requirements, including those for data protection confidentiality and security. * To lead and drive forward the Change & Risk management process * To plan, design and install new ...
