Job Description
Data Engineer A brand new role has arisen for an experienced Database / BI Developer to take the next step in their career and transition into a full Data Engineer to work for one of the most recognisable NGO's in London. We are looking for someone with a keen passion for data, ability to learn new skills, confident working with senior stakeholders and someone who wants to take on a challenge. As the Data Engineer you will need to have good working knowledge SQL, SSIS & ETL but you will need to learn extensive Python, Cloud technologies, Data Lakes, Stream Analytics, C# and more. This NGO are really looking at investing into this Data Engineer where you will be utilising your skills in Data to help make the world a better place. We are currently in the process of redeveloping the way we use data to ensure we are using it as effectively as possible through modelling & cloud based technologies and we want you to come on the process with us. Skills required for the Data Engineer are : - Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of data with technical skills in SQL, SSIS, ETL and Kimball. - Ability to work with senior stakeholders across a business - Have shown a strong interest in Python, Data Factories and all things cloud - A strong eagerness to learn and develop your Career further Data Engineer / BI Developer / Data Architect / Database Developer / Data Warehouse Developer / Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Location: Moorgate, Central London (ability to work from home 1 - 2 days a week from home when things return to normal) Note: Due to the ongoing situation this role will start remotely Apply now for immediate consideration regarding this excellent opportunity.
