Job Description

Your role: Have you successfully planned, organized and controlled all test activities in automated environment? Do you have the know-how for achieving the defined test goals and implementing the testing? Do you want to be our test expert, making sure our application and technical environments meet the requirements? We're looking for an automation test lead to: \tDesign, build and maintain an automation framework for testing the department's systems globally \tManage, monitor and improve the infrastructure \tDevelop custom tools and integrate with existing tools to increase engineering productivity \tDefine the automation book of work, collaborating with the team to deliver efficiencies and productivity improvements via test automation \tAutomate new and already existing regression and other functional tests on Web projects \tIntegrate automated testing into CI process \tManage test environments, test devices, define and create consistent test data and reports based on results \tWork with both your team and other cross functional teams to plan and execute tests \tCollaborate with architects to ensure solutions adhere to their principles and direction \tLead, mentor, up-skill and inspire other automation engineers IT Automation Test Lead City: London Job Type: Full Time Country / State: United Kingdom Function Category: Information Technology (IT) Join us: We're a truly global, collaborative and friendly group of people. Your team: You'll be working in the Group Treasury team based in London. We analyze, develop and deliver global solutions to maintain or change our IT systems with our business counterparts. As an automation lead you'll play an important role in ensuring the development methodology is followed, and lead technical design discussions with the architects. Your expertise: \tIdeally, 5+ years of professional experience in quality assurance for Web products \tIdeally, 3+ years of experience with implementation of automated testing for project and system via selenium (webdriver)/ Protractor or similar frameworks \tProven delivery of performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, interoperability, functionality and accessibility; and non-functional testing to assess for security, reliability, efficiency, reliability, maintainability and portability \tStrong experience in creation of automation frameworks from scratch \tExperience of working with version control systems (e.g. GIT, Bitbucket and others) \tIn-depth knowledge of test automation approaches and procedures \tGood experience with API level testing \tUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum \tExperience querying and validating data from relational DBs (SQL Server/Oracle) \tBoth spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered.
