## Overview Castleton Commodities International is a leading global energy commodities merchant and infrastructure asset investor. This fully integrated platform has generated strong risk-adjusted returns for our investors since our formation. ## Responsibilities * Oversee Trade Finance activities, including working with the Head Treasurer on developing capital budgets and corporate financing strategy and overseeing trade finance team. * Source financing options and provide guidance to origination teams on financing requirements for structured transactions, storage and transport deals and tradeflow. * Negotiate L/C wording with counterparties and submit L/C applications to banks for issuance. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely and effective delivery of business objectives. * Maintain current bank relationships by regular communication/updates to banking partners to ensure a cohesive relationship, as well as understanding what areas need developing, improving, etc. * Prepare and submit documents for negotiation of incoming letters of credit. * Coordinate daily trade finance activities and related L/C requirements with Credit, Traffic, and Operations * Manage A/R discounting, silent payment confirmation, and other credit mitigation instruments. * Negotiate AR and trade finance agreements with banks in conjunction with Legal Department. * Oversee reporting of L/C and trade finance activity. * Assist Credit Department in monitoring credit and continually assessing the operational risks associated with changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices that could impact country risk exposure. * Manage tracking of title documents associated with bank financing. ## Qualifications * 10 to 15 years in Treasury/Finance department of a merchant trader with experience in trade finance products, especially letters of credit and A/R discounting. * High level of trade finance guarantees processing skills, strong operational risk analysis skills, sound knowledge of trade finance products and current market trends. * Knowledge of petroleum products, crude oil, especially waterborne business, is a must. * Ability to handle multiple tasks and transactions under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Adapt in analyzing and reconciling financial data with high degree of accuracy. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to write clearly and concisely. * Excellent leadership/team building skills; excellent interpersonal skills; facilitation and conflict resolution skills; decision making skills.
