Job Description
Working from home opportunity for an experienced Accountant who is comfortable learning and working in a remote setting. This role will offer an immediate start on a fixed term contract of 12 months maternity cover. About The Role: · Working as part of a team of 12 this role covers all aspects of Finance · As an Internal Accountant you will be responsible for the integrity of sections of the accounts, statutory requirements and providing support, insight, analysis and reports to specific areas of the business with the aim of driving improvement across the business · Financial Accounts including audit liaison and year end · Balance sheet management and supporting Treasury function · Production of monthly management accounts and support to operational managers interpreting the numbers · Improving cost control and making sound business decisions based on the results · Accountant working with the operational teams in the production of budgets and forecasts · Production of regular reports for internal and external customers and ad hoc analysis to assist management decisions and control · Maintenance and development of financial systems. Essential Skills & Experience · Accountancy qualification in CIMA, ACA or ACCA · Experience working in a similar role as an Accountant within a busy finance function · Problem solving & making sound decisions whilst using good judgment · Previous experience in all round accounts including financial and management accounts About The Benefits · Salary up to GBP36000 dependant on experience · Working from home · Flexi time between 7.30am-6.30pm 37 hours per week mon-fri · 37 days holiday per year including a day off for you birthday · Well being initiatives including healthcare package · Pension · 12 month fixed term contract To Apply If this sounds like a role you will LOVE, please send your CV to us today!
