**Global Markets - Trade Execution BCE Strategy- Product Manager - VP** Global Markets conducts its trading and post-trade activities globally through various Brokerage and Trading Venues, Clearing House and Exchanges (BCE). Given the continuing changes in the regulatory environment and the increased focus on automation, the financial industry continues to see steady growth in the usage of such venues and vendors for both listed and OTC products. The role of the Markets BCE team is to ensure that both short and long term strategic revenue-expense business goals are taken into consideration when evaluating new business alternatives in using such venues, or in trying to optimize the use of existing venues. The team works closely within Citi with each of the business, Ops and IT areas. In addition, the team focuses on market structure strategy in partnership with the Markets Innovation and Investments teams. The responsibilities of the role will be to work with the head of the Markets BCE team in analyzing each BCE vendor and coming up with a future business strategy, monitoring existing usage, and maintaining vendor dialogue and relationship. A key part of the role will be to assist and work with the various Markets businesses and desks, and also constituents in implementing various contractual negotiations, reporting and MIS of BCE expenses, and budgeting. **Examples of expected deliverables:** + Analysis of trade execution trends for each Markets business, using advanced data analytics to project future volumes + Manage technology teams to build system to monitor metrics and analyse large datasets, using latest data visualization tools + Work together with trading desks, operations, and technology to manage relationship with vendors + Project manage and support execution of Markets-wide BCE actions and plans + Development and delivery of presentation to management on the BCE business strategy and performance **Development opportunities offered by the role:** + Potential for direct P&L impact on a very large line item (~$1B) + Exposure to management and build out network of senior managers across all Markets businesses, technology and operations + Detailed understanding of Markets Infrastructure across all markets products, and help shape the future of the industry infrastructure + Be part of high-performance team, and further develop management skills in: strategy, data analytics, technology implementation, influencing and negotiation **Qualifications:** + 5-8 years' experience in a financial services organization in similar role + Strong financial markets acumen as well as the consistently changing regulatory environment + Experience with operational and strategic support of brokerages, trading venues, clearing houses, and electronic exchanges + Experience analyzing large datasets, deriving insights from data and presenting to management + Experience dealing with trade execution venues, maintaining the relationships, and negotiating contracts + Ability to navigate between Citi's internal desks and act as point of contact for both internal and external contacts + Excellent written and oral communication skills + Ability to work autonomously ----- Grade :All Job Level - All Job FunctionsAll Job Level - All Job Functions - GB ----- Time Type : ----- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
