We're looking for a senior cloud architect to: evangelize, design and deliver cloud solutions aligned to business and IT requirements work across the organization to educate, collaborate and facilitate adoption of cloud concepts guide implementation teams to successful delivery, using industry best practices, patterns and principles serve as field guide and champion of Agile software delivery methods lead the adoption of modern DevOps principles and practices design and deliver common CI/CD pipelines and test harnesses for the entire application estate Your team: You'll be working in the Asset Management Technology, Platform Engineering team based in one of our offices worldwide. Our team makes sure that we deliver robust, secure, modern, flexible business applications for UBS Asset Management by adopting, evangelizing, teaching and implementing cloud, Agile and DevOps concepts across the division. As a Principal Cloud Architect, you'll play the key role in making sure we achieve these business and technology objectives. Your expertise: 5+ years' practical work experience at a senior technical lead / architect level in a commercial setting 3+ years' experience working directly with MS Azure, AWS or Google Cloud (UBS is an Azure shop) expert-level understanding of concepts such as: cyberthreat defense, high availability engineering, containerization, single page application development, serverless computing, elastic scalability, high performance RDBMS/NoSQL, big data multiple original contributions to significant enterprise software applications thorough understanding of a wide variety of both legacy and modern cloud technologies track record of leading and inspiring mixed-skill teams of 5-8 thorough practical experience of Scrum framework (experience as Scrum Master advantageous) thorough practical experience with all phases of modern DevOps pipelines at least bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in a computer science-related discipline *EFC-UBS *LI-UBS About us: Expert advice.
