Job Description

We have a new opportunity for a Marketing Projects Manager to join our growing team, focussing on Manufactured Products at our Head Office in Alfreton. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving forward the management of New Product Development and Product Management projects, increasing the rate of New Product Introduction, and improving project delivery to time and budget, ultimately increasing the overall % of sales from product projects. This role would suit an experienced Marketing professional with strong Project Management experience, with solid organisational and prioritising skills, and the ability to manage a number of concurrent workstreams. DUTIES: * Responsible for the end to end delivery of projects, including the engagement of relevant stakeholders and colleagues * Enable the successful delivery of projects, on time, within scope and on budget * Co-ordinate a Project Management Team * Utilise, champion and further develop processes for Continuous Product Development (CPD) and Make or Buy, New Product Introduction (NPI) and product SKU additions * Responsible for stage / gate process from idea generation, product concept, business case development and feasibility stages through to launch, post-launch review * Produce and develop robust, documented project plans for each project; including stage gate summaries / checklists, supporting documents and charts of activities/deadlines * Support Project Managers to ensure tasks are completed to agreed quality, and projects are kept on track * Work with internal stakeholders to produce a robust competitor analysis system and co-ordinate information * Devise appropriate summary reports for Senior Management and the Board * Monitor and measure progress against project objectives, including the allocation of resources and controlling costs * Utilise risk management analysis and tools to identify key project risks before they occur KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: * Ability to inspire, motivate and coordinate team members to go above and beyond * Eagerness to keep on top of market trends, marketing insights * Strong project management experience, within a commercial product development discipline * Strong organisational skills, including ability to multi-task and manage time effectively * Highly developed analytical and interpretation skills * Gravitas to influence senior managers and the board * Multiple simultaneous projects management exposure * Solid team management experience * A recognised Project Management qualification and/or professional body membership is desirable but not essential.
