In Decision Analytics we unlock meaning within data to help clients solve problems and drive better decisions and outcomes; is this customer who they claim to be? Can this person afford the loan they're asking for? Does this person qualify for a service we provide? Organisations need to answer these sorts of questions hundreds, thousands, even millions of times a day. As well as answering them accurately and consistently, they need to answer them quickly because that's what their customers expect. We help our clients do this - minimising the risk to their organisation while delivering the type of customer experience that people expect. We help them to lend effectively, to detect and minimise fraud and to comply with legal requirements. We help them identify new opportunities including more efficient ways to run their business and better ways to cross-sell their products. We do this by combining our own data with data from our clients and third parties. We then use advanced technologies to organise and analyse this data, turning it into useful, meaningful information which our customers can act on. Our clients can make lending decisions on hundreds of millions of credit applications every year and can also avoid fraud by checking that applicants are who they say they are. Background and Job Responsibilities: Background: Experian Decision Analytics (DA) integrates predictive data and analytics into valuable business decisions that provide greater insight into decision performance and helps companies keep pace with changing business priorities. By applying expert consulting, analytical tools, software and systems to convert data into valuable business decisions Our expertise spans a variety of industries and we provide software to some of the world's largest finance, telcos and other blue-chip companies. The crown jewel in our software suite is PowerCurve which provides best-in-class decisioning applied across the whole customer life-cycle from customer acquisition to in-life and collections, as well as in fraud detection and identity resolution systems. PowerCurve is able to execute on hosted as well as cloud platforms. Decision Analytics has laid the foundations to move from a collection of individual products towards a consolidated cloud-based platform delivering industry leading capabilities across data, analytics and decisioning, embedding latest technologies such as Big Data and ML/AI. We have good momentum and our core product has trebled in revenues over the last 3 years and are in the midst of moving it to a global SAAS product. As part of the next phase in our growth, we are looking for a senior leader to evolve and establish our operations and automation team and our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. As an organisation we whole-heartedly believe that everything should be automated, that software should run software, and in the Site Reliability Engineering model. We have established a platform using cutting-edge technology, such as Kubernetes, containers and huge amount of automation. The candidate will be a forward-looking leader with a vision of how SRE will be in the future, but also well broad business experience in how it is to run and manage the operational aspect of a service. You will have broad experience and not shy away from the operational aspects and understand that the best way to build reliability is to break things often. There is a team to build from, but also a large opportunity to expand and grow. Our core platform Experian one is live in multiple countries in a short time and is our strategic future.
