Job Description

MHPS is looking for person with engineering, technical and a degree of commercial project development skills in terms of emerging technologies which focus on delivering national law of Net Zero 2050 in UK and similar in Irealand. Working closely with the Sales Director, the Project Development Coordinator/Leader will be responsible for working closely with Customers and external organisations to develop future business opportunities based on emerging technologies in UK and Ireland and will be based in our London/Leeds location. General responsibilities: * Work as key member of New Business Team for the technical and engineering development of UK and Ireland projects which focus on low carbon applications * Participate actively in wider New Business Team Efforts for Europe and in cooperation with HQ in Japan * Be an ambassador of MHPS in the market and strong promoter of company future vision for sustainable energy production and use You will also be responsible for: * identification of new project development opportunities * identification of project ideas/partners/customers * screening/evaluate of feasibility/profitability * clarifying of all project-related issues to bring the project to financial close * providing the most profitable solution for the project * analysis of customers and market potential as well as conception and execution of suitable key * account strategies * taking technical support from internal/external engineering services * preparation and plausibility check of business plans * supporting commercial terms and contract negotiations * coordination of due diligence process * identifying and resolving potential project flaws and to prioritize critical path tasks * preparation of (Executive Committee) Board decisions * maintaining good relationships with public officials, investors, banks and agencies Person Specification: * University education: finance, economics, management or engineering degree * Fluency in business English * Computer knowledge and mastery of common software packages for office work * Knowledge/Skill: General knowledge of following areas is required. * Communicate effectively with all levels of employees. * Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times * Be a true leader - to accept and apply company values to teams you are working with * The ability to lead project development from idea/concept to financial close * Proven experience in Sales, Strategy, Business Development or Consulting * Project development of infrastructure or energy projects experience is beneficial * A working knowledge of environmental and other applicable laws as well as technical * Development disciplines including resource assessment, turbine operation, etc. will be beneficial * You should be a detail-oriented individual who will proactively chase down required information. * You should have a general understanding of the energy market trends and resulting impacts on project development. * You will have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to a wide range of audiences * A results-oriented professional with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally within internal and external partners * You will enjoy working cross-disciplinary on applicable laws as well as technical development disciplines including resource assessment, turbine operation, etc.. * Self-motivated and patient * · Be willing to travel throughout EMEA region as and when required You will be able to demonstrate alignment to MHPS Core Values: Discipline & Patience , Creativity & Innovation, Humility & Empathy, Passion & Effort, Accountability & Responsibility, Forward Thinking & Working as One.
