Job Description Director, HIV Global Value & Access, Region 1 & 2, Stockley Park Gilead Sciences, Inc. is a research-based biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops and commercializes innovative medicines in areas of unmet medical need. The Position As a Director Global Value and Access (GVA), you will be responsible for supporting the pricing and reimbursement activities across Regions 1 and 2 (R1&2) as well as local access. Critical to the success of this role is the ability to work closely with cross-functional colleagues to develop V&A strategies for brands in scope, in alignment with commercial/medical and country Market access colleagues. The role is in the HIV franchise, giving an opportunity to develop a breadth of experience, with a focus on HIV Treatment and HIV PrEP. You will be the voice of the relevant markets feeding their needs into the development of core Global strategy and materials. This role has a blend of both strategy and operational elements. Job duties include: + Input into payer key value messages and value propositions - update the Core Regional Value Dossier to support the pricing and reimbursement negotiations across the markets + Support (leading where applicable) the development and implementation of R1&2 HTA health economic strategies for the HIV portfolio + Support countries across R1&2 to adapt Global pricing and access strategies to local needs + Prepare and train market access teams in countries to ensure understanding around strategy, disease and product data + Prepare and train teams in managing payer objections including negotiation skills + Develop any required additional materials to educate payers and raise awareness of unmet needs. + Support local access by supporting value materials or sponsoring required activities to equip local access teams + Support the pricing research for new products to define the regional price strategy, define pricing corridors for list and net prices and set launch sequencing across the Region and support the relevant markets Knowledge, Experience and Skills: + Solid experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry in the R1&2 region.
