Job Description

Nottingham's University Hospital's Division of Family Health has an operating budget of 150m, 2308 staff and provides routine and tertiary care for women and children across the region. It is home to Nottingham Children's Hospital, which includes the Neonatal service. We are currently looking for an experienced Business Unit General Manager to join us to lead one of two clinical business units, alongside the Clinical Director and Lead Nurse. As the Business Unit General Manager you will take day to day running responsibility and accountability for the operational running of the Children's Hospital Business Unit, ensuring provision of high quality patient services that are clinically sound, delivered cost effectively and meet the Trust's priorities and performance targets. We are looking for a strong track record of operational management within the NHS to match this amazing opportunity to step up in terms of scale, to manage a complex, fast paced Business Unit, reaching across the Division, Trust and Region.
