Nottinghamshire Police "Proud to Serve" Job Title: x2 Intelligence and Performance Analyst Permanent Hours: 37 per week Part time/flexible working options will be considered Salary range: 26,280 to 30,024 per annum (pro-rata if part time) Based at: Nottinghamshire Police HQ - Sherwood Lodge / Radford Road Main Purpose of Role A challenging and unique opportunity has arisen within Nottinghamshire Police for the post of Intelligence & Performance Analyst within the Counter Corruption Unit. Based within the Professional Standards Directorate, you will provide strategic, tactical and operational support via the provision of clear and concise intelligence products. Working within an intelligence-led and problem solving environment, you will be responsible for effective analysis aimed at identifying threats and reducing the risk of harm. Innovation in proactive techniques to develop intelligence around corruption, in all its forms, is essential. Liaising closely with your investigator and researcher colleagues, you will advise on data requirements and bring clarity to complex information through the use of a variety of analytical techniques (training provided). An understanding around telecoms data would be an advantage and an excellent working knowledge of Excel is essential. You will provide information to support criminal and misconduct investigations and formulate recommendations and inferences that will help shape our response. Who are we looking for? You will have a keen analytical mind, and enjoy adding insight to raw data. You will be skilled in the use of computer based systems, and will be adept in the extraction and manipulation of data, information processing and presentation software. You will be a skilled report writer and a pro-active, dynamic, creative thinker who is experienced at working to specified deadlines within a fluid environment. Attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills are vital to the role, as is the ability to work as part of a small team.
