As a Recovery Coordinator with Change Grow Live you'll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the CHART Kirklees service for a number Recovery Coordinator's working within one of our Alcohol, Opiates, Non Opiates or Criminal Justice Service teams. You will be based within one of our hubs in Huddersfield or Dewsbury, currently with the option of working remotely from home, this may change in the future. The successful candidate will have care co-ordination responsibilities alongside the tasks of recovery planning, risk assessing, risk management planning and client-centered reviews. In addition, knowledge and experience of psychosocial interventions, to engage collaboratively alongside colleagues - including peer mentors, volunteers, nurses and doctors, to ensure an integrated package of care. You will be committed to a positive, holistic and empowering approach to care co-ordination and will work with service users to initiate recovery from drug or alcohol dependence, to enable service users to build their own recovery capital and to support them to move into long-term sustained recovery and social (re)integration. You will be committed to high quality service provision and the active involvement of service users in all aspects of your work. You will have some training of relevance or be suitably qualified,and have experience when it comes to addressing substance misuse issues within a busy and dynamic integrated drug and alcohol service.
