About This Job A really important role in the success of opening our new 261-bedroom hotel, you will support the hotel by identifying great opportunities, negotiating and then managing our new key accounts, as well as working together with the Groups, M&E and Revenue Team. To manage identified key accounts in the corporate transient market segment and to identify and develop potential accounts. • Increase revenues, ADR and market share from existing and potential key accounts • Develop a tight network and relationship with accounts that have the potential to contribute to the economic success of Qbic Hotels • Communicate and advise hotels on key accounts • Generate correct and comprehensive data on accounts as a base for contract negotiations • Establish and secure corporate account base. Builds guest and company loyalty through proactive communication, setting and managing expectations and delivering solid business results. The Sales Manager is also actively involved in the local community and builds strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers. About your responsibilities 1. Deliver top-line revenue target for your hotel by looking after national and international corporate accounts and their associated Travel Management companies. 2. Responsible for the preparation of the annual Sales plan and subsequently delivering to it. 3. Manage the corporate segment to drive segment strategies to support the needs of the hotels. 4. Develop business from designated Consortia and TMC partners 5. Analyse every account regarding additional business opportunities, against business needs; 6. Negotiate and contract defined RFP accounts on behalf of Qbic hotels 7. Identify prospective new accounts through market research 8. Co-ordinate the rate loading of all accounts into the GDS and hotel PMS in a timely and accurate manner liaising with the hotels revenue department 9. Monitor market trends and competitor analysis and communicate these to the hotel's revenue team. As well as initiating, coordinating and participating in client educational trips to Qbic Hotels destinations 10. Organise and participate in road shows including exhibitions, trade fairs, sales blitzes, M&E events and telemarketing activities. 11. Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities and maintain an up to date database of clients and contacts. Systems, Knowledge & Experience • Ideally have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management, or related major; 3-4 years' experience in sales and marketing as well as management operations. • Sales Manager experience in a focused or full-service property. Lifestyle property experience also highly desired. Could also be a Sales Manager with strong experience from a smaller hotel. • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings if needed. • European Foreign language(s) an advant
