Health Care Support Worker - Intensive Care
Overview
Job Description
You will assist Registered Nurses in the provision of patient care in our newly built Intensive Care Unit. The purpose of the role is to competently perform and support all necessary aspects of care for this defined patient group, whilst ensuring safe, person centred care is provided to all patients. You will also provide, through following Greater and Glasgow & Clyde policies, a safe environment for the treatment of patients and protection of staff. It is essential you have a caring disposition preferably with experience working in a caring environment/role. Good communication skills are essential for this post. This is a 23 hours per week permanent contract, with a shift pattern of 2 x 11.5 hours per week, rotational days and nights. Informal Contact Yvonne Dolan, Senior Charge Nurse on 0141 314 7069.
