'It is all about the journey..." Outline of the role Based at our Registered Care home in Aylesbury, you'll play a key part in assisting the people we support to live as independently as possible. You will join in with their favourite pastimes and hobbies, helping them be active members of their local community. Activities* might include swimming, walking, listening to music, going to the cinema and theatre, shopping, going out for meals, holidays, going the pub, cooking, helping to clean their homes. *Please note, activities may be adapted due to the current Covid pandemic You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins. You may also be required to complete lone working. What we need from you You don't need experience as we provide full training and day-to-day support. What's important is that you share our values, have a positive approach and are willing to learn. The work is demanding and it's not for everyone but the ultimate reward is the heart-felt feeling of being able to see the positive impact you're able to have on another person's life and this is something you'll never forget. It is essential for these positions that you hold a full manual driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK, as you may be required to drive service vehicles.
