Learning and Development Opportunities. Hours - 37.5 per Week, Monday to Friday. Salary - up to 25,000 per annum dependant on experience, skills and qualifications. Head Office, with travel to sites as necessary. Closing Date - Wednesday 17th June 2020 We are on the lookout for an experienced Trainer who will bring their passion for health and social care to work every day and who can design and deliver exceptional induction, on-boarding and care-specific learning interventions. Orbis Education and Care Head Office is based in Pentwyn, Cardiff. Centrally located with great access to public transport. At Orbis Education and Care we support children, young people and adults with needs associated with autism, we provide specialist schools, community homes, and a community-based work-skills service. As a Learning and Development Trainer you will deliver mandatory and service specific training to multiple Orbis sites, working strategically to ensure learning opportunities are planned to maintain compliance and in response to Regulatory requirements. You will also have time based at Head Office, where you will work in partnership with the wider L&D and HR team to drive continuous improvement, develop training resources and attend regular team updates. What you will be doing: + Developing and delivering an outstanding induction and 6-month on-boarding experience, setting our new staff up for success. + Designing and delivering refresher, service and role-specific training for our teams. + Carrying out regular Training Needs Analysis; planning to meet identified needs, using a range of formats and tailoring content to achieve learning goals. + Working with a range of stakeholders to achieve compliance across a range of training topics, AWIF and QCF qualifications. What we are looking for: + Knowledge and experience in creating training packs from scratch + Experience in adapting yourself to the audience you are training + Experience in enabling people to access new opportunities + Able to demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills + Someone who is committed to the provision of high quality person centred support to empower people particularly those with autistic spectrum conditions + Understanding the importance of choice, rights and empowerment + Ability to be innovative, imaginative and flexible with the working situation Qualifications: + Level 3 EAT qualification or equivalent. + Completed Train the Trainer course's in core Health and Social Care topics e.g Safeguarding, First Aid, MCA DOLS. + Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software. + Full UK driving licence.
