Overview

Learning Disabilities Support Worker Adults Hoop Social Care have a new opportunity for a learning disabilities support worker in Cardiff. You will be working within a charity organisation, supporting adults with learning disabilities, Autism, as well as physical impairments. You will be based within a residential home, where you will focus on supporting residents with their daily tasks. As a learning disabilities support worker, you are there to promote independence within the home and to help develop social and communication skills. As you are working with individuals who have learning disabilities and complex needs, you must strive to bring routine and structure to your work environment and ensure your residents feel safe and supported. Applicants will need experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This role will require you to work a range of hours. Your shifts can cover Monday through to Sunday, including days and waking nights.
