Job Description
Do you have experience in care, or are you looking for a change of career using transferable skills in a new way? Our client specialises in providing residential care and support for children and adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. Located in one of the company's small (maximum six bed) homes across Cardiff and Barry, they offer full or part time hours which cover evenings, week-ends, bank holidays, wake-in and sleep-in duties. The company is looking for people who share their values, who are caring, empathetic and compassionate to join the dedicated team You will provide support to individuals on a day to day basis, including some personal care where necessary, promoting their independence, enabling them to achieve their goals and putting their well-being at the centre of everything you do. The role includes helping individuals to make their own choices and supporting them to carry out activities within and outside of the home, e.g. cooking, cleaning, shopping, going to the gym, days out, leisure activities.
