Customer Onboarding Assistant (Full Time) Location: Chafford Hundred Salary: £20,000 - £23,5000 Per Annum About the Company: Inchcape Shipping Services provides global strategic maritime, cargo and supply chain solutions to ship-owners and operators who span all geographies, market segments, vessels and asset types. About the Customer Onboarding Assistant Role Under the Customer Onboarding Manager assist in the process by which new customers and / or Port Offices are integrated in to the business or migrated from legacy to new applications. The role includes liaising with customers to ensure they are trained on the system where applicable and that all their requirements have been understood, scoped and delivered before the implementation is signed off to deliver all stated benefits to the customer or internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for defining, improving and overseeing a repeatable methodology by which all implementations will be completed. Ensure communication and collaboration between all stakeholders and owners of the project. Ensure HSSE standards are met during all elements of the Project. Continuous training of Customers and Internal Users both during Implementations and as part of BAU releases. Key Accountabilities: * Designing and implementing a clear and repeatable methodology detailing how ISS implements new customers and ISS entities in to the new ISS application landscape. * Provide value add to the wider operations team in regards to how best meet requirements from the customer and how these are both managed and delivered from an operational viewpoint in terms of structure and skillset required. * Coach and assist Customer Helpdesk on troubleshooting and understanding all aspects of Inchcape applications. * Project manage customer and internal implementations ensuring all relevant stakeholders are involved and requirements and expectations are set and communicated with a clear achievable and realistic timeframe. * Ensure customers and internal stakeholders are adequately trained and involved in the projects. * Constantly monitor and report on progress to all stakeholders * Working with the Inchcape Marine Academy, develop training programs to support implementations and BAU training or regular releases. * Design, develop and deliver customer and internal workshops throughout implementations as required. * Provide pre-sales support as necessary during tender processes and ad-hoc - become a subject matter expert and support the business in all aspects related to the new applications. Requirements for the Customer Onboarding Assistant Role * Confident and self-motivated approach to work as part of a high performing team * Strong communicator (verbal and written); ability to talk to different disciplines of stakeholders at all levels of the organization * Highly adaptable, strong prioritization and ability to work well under pressure meet deadlines * Proven experience of the full Product lifecycle * Ability to delegate and follow up effectively * Ability to work under pressure with the minimum of supervision and on own initiative. * Excellent understanding of the maritime service domain * 5+ years of experience in a job in the marine service industry. * Ability to Travel internationally If you feel you are suitable for the Customer Onboarding Assistant position, please apply now.
