About the Role: As a Client Finance Associate, you will be responsible for partnering with other finance team members, Client/Scientific Services teams and the shared service centre in managing and ensuring the financial integrity of client finances. This is a hands on and highly commercial role, supporting the client finance team in driving growth and profitability for the business and to ensure financial controls and policies are in place and are followed. This is a newly created team which needs to support the agency where it has gone through a significant change with financial processing & financial reporting moving to shared service centres in India & London. It requires a lot of hands on support to ensure the new shared service teams are meeting agency needs & the agency teams are getting the service they require. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: * Assisting with the management of AP & AR queries from the shared service centre. * Assisting teams with AX Dynamics system queries (Timesheets, PO's, quotes, billing). * Approval of Non-PO supplier invoices. * Approval of supplier PO's. * Approval of client invoices/ credit notes. * Approval of Job creations. * Filling out New supplier & New client forms to send to SSC and ensuring these get set up in a timely manner and making sure rate cards for new clients are added to the system once the setup is complete. * Euler credit checks on new clients. * Assisting the teams with project balance transfers, making sure they are filling out the correct forms and getting these sent to the SSC to post. * Assisting the teams with the movement of hours between Jobs and uploading to AX. * Ensuring Jobs are reconciled and closed on AX when complete. * Managing the WIP and unbilled AR to assist with commentary for Working capital call. * Running of time reports for FD on weekly, fortnightly & Monthly basis. * Chasing missing timesheets weekly. * Management of freelancer tracking and uploading freelance time to AX. * Uploading Engagement Group time to AX. * Requesting New Users to be set up in AX. * AX training for new starters. * Checking final Job recs for formula errors or inconsistencies. * Sbox testing. * Running weekly project tracking reports split by Business leads for team analysis. Skills and Experience - Essential vs. Desirable: Essential: * High degree of accuracy and attention to detail * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously * Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to communicate with various levels of management * Strong knowledge of Excel * Don't' be afraid to ask questions and be curious * Maintain composure and professionalism under stressful situations * Be proactive in your day-to-day responsibilities and communicate frequently with your managers, and team members take initiative * AP & Billing experience or a solid understanding of the requirements in these areas Desirable: * Experience of working in an agency environment for 1 year or more. * Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (AX) Finance system.
