Global Markets Credit Suisse Global Markets fully integrates our Equities and Fixed Income franchises into one division to deliver a consistent, creative and high-value client experience. International Trading Solutions Cross-divisional collaboration is a pillar of Credit Suisse's strategy. In February 2017, we announced our intention to establish a partnership between Sales and Trading Services (STS) and Global Markets (GM) Solutions with the aim of providing a superior service to the bank's institutional and wealth management clients. In light of this, we have decided to pool the expertise and capabilities of STS and GM Solutions to form a new business unit, known as International Trading Solutions (ITS) within GM. This will allow us to bring a more comprehensive offering to our International Wealth Management (IWM) and Swiss Universal Bank (SUB) clients, add new distribution capabilities to GM. On the client coverage side, IWM will leverage the capabilities of ITS for the benefit of its (ultra-)high -net-worth clients and SUB will do the same for the benefit of its private, corporate and institutional clients in Switzerland. * You will be working as part of a team responsible for transacting hard currency trading across the EMEA region with a responsibility for the trade execution. You will handle order flow across a broad range of clients including banks, hedge funds, and other financial institutions * Primary responsibility for the day to day running of cash and CDS books; which will include P&L reporting in addition to trading in the designated market segment * Ensuring accurate and timely trade capture, risk reporting and daily marking of positions * Assists colleagues in identifying and establishing relationships with institutional clients to begin building trading portfolios * Works alongside Trading, Sales and Structuring to review research, market news and stock performance for internal / external clients * Experience of working in an emerging markets business with a focus on EMEA, having developed a sound knowledge base in your areas of expertise * As a Credit Trader we require the successful applicant to have strong technical knowledge of cash and CDS markets, including base rate products * Proficiency is multiple languages desirable', Arabic highly desirable' * Ability to evaluate routine problems in a systematic manner using established quantitative processes and tools; evidence solid technical, analytical and computer skills * Can demonstrate good organizational skills in the context of managing your own activities and supporting those of relevant teams * You will have practical experience of critical trading and risk management systems * Are able to see opportunities within your own area of responsibility and drives said opportunities forward; open to accepting feedback and learning opportunities * Compliant with all applicable laws, regulations and policies, showing true concern for compliance and control standards. Will be responsible for protecting and upholding the bank's reputation and earning the trust of our clients * Capable of applying high levels of diligence, discipline and organization in your work: meet deadlines and strive for high quality * We envisage the successful candidate will have client facing experience, and is responsive to clients' needs and colleagues' requests, exhibiting clear communication and use of concise explanations * As an engaged team member we expect you to be a positive attitude towards teamwork, encouraging collaboration within team.
