VICE x Team Based in our London office, the Finance department is a newly centralised shared services team for EMEA who play a busy and vital role within the VICE Media Group. Role x You As our Assistant Management Accountant, you will work with the Finance Managers, Nordic Controller and the UK Controller to assist with cost accruals, prepayments, accrued/deferred revenue associated journals at month end. Responsibilities * Assist Nordic Finance Manager with producing the monthly management accounts for VICE ApS, Vice AB, VICE Norway and Boardroom Gorillas including cost accruals, prepayments, accrued/ deferred revenue & associated journals at month end * Assist Finance Manager for UK TV and France TV with producing the monthly management accounts including cost accruals, prepayments, accrued/ deferred revenue & associated journals at month end * Reviewing with Programming acquisitions and productions to track delivery and calculating costs of completion for UK TV and France TV * Responsible for the Fixed Assets Register for the Nordic entities and for UK TV and France TV, including additions and disposals and running month end depreciation/amortisation * Oversee intercompany process monthly for the Nordic entities & ensure balances are cleared on a timely basis * Responsible for Concur and Barclays card queries, reconciliation etc. for the Nordic entities * Responsible for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for the Nordic entities * Statutory requirements: assist with year-end audit and statutory processes * Assisting the Finance Managers, Controllers and the Management Accountant with ad hoc queries Experience * Newly qualified / part-qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 1-2 years of experience in management accounting and financial analysis * Production accounting highly desirable * Experienced gained within a busy and fluid media / creative environment would be preferable * You will have experience in business partnering and communicate with finance & non-finance stakeholders effectively and articulately for all International regions * Strong system and Excel skills You have these * You will need to be highly organised, detail oriented and meticulous * Proven experience of working to tight deadlines; working effectively under pressure * Capable of working independently without being micro-managed.
