Role: Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner - Scrub Location: Nottingham Salary: Up to £34,500 dependent on experience Working Pattern: Full Time - 37.5 hours weekly Benefits: 25 days holiday + Pension + Private Healthcare + Free Parking + more! We are looking for an Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner for Scrub to join the Theatre departments at a leading Private hospital group. The role is available in * Nottingham We need an enthusiastic individual who are committed to the team in the multi theatre, Laminar Flow set-up. You will need two years Scrub experience, in particular for joints. You will be able to work across specialities to successfully interview. A depth of knowledge in Orthopaedic surgery is essential. Be part of the team that brings patient satisfaction rating from 98% to 100%! The list involves surgeries in hip, knee, spine, shoulder, elbow, hand, wrist, foot and ankle. Enhance your CPD through externally moderated courses! You will have access to world leading technology and consultants to develop your skills! This role will be support and assist in the management and organisation of the Operating Department. We are looking for an individual who is committed and experienced in driving quality and patient services. The successful applicants should have experience in staff management and development as well as service delivery. The role is full time positions of 37.5 hours a week on a flexible rota in Nottingham. This hospital group has been caring for the local community since the 70s, providing quality care and treatment across more than 60 healthcare specialities, with centres of excellence in spinal, orthopaedic, neuro, cardiac and cancer care. Requirements: * Evidence of relevant professional development, clinically, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration. * Registered Practitioner with NMC or HPC registration. * Evidence of continuous professional development. * Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty * Approved / recognised anaesthetic, Scrub or Endoscopy course. ILS/ ALS. * Desirable Advanced Scrub Practitioner qualification. * Experience and training in pain management, care of the deteriorating patient, care of patient under conscious sedation requiring monitored recovery. * Significant experience working in an acute hospital setting in a Senior Registered Nurse post or equivalent in an endoscopy service. * Ability to lead a nursing team, showing previous experience in leading a clinical team. * Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail. * Excellent organisation and multitasking skills required. * Ability to motivate a team of clinical professionals.
